So last summer my parents and I went to Cali for vacation to visit my cousin in Sacramento and to fulfill my lifelong goal of visiting the Napa Valley. It reminded me a lot of Yakima :) So here is a picture of me in front of a restaurant in St. Helena. We had a great time, but I thought I would post about it as an excuse to put up a picture finally.
On a more recent note: I can't play any burned cds in my car stereo. I would be ever so grateful to anyone who had any suggestions on how to make them play. The cds just spin and spin until my car spits them back out at me. So sad.
Oh, and nothing is better than a summer night in Eastern Washington.

Digging a hole to China

I have some bad news. For all of you who ever dreamed of digging your way to China as a child, that dream must die. That's right, it is against the law to dig a hole any deeper than 12 feet without the proper permits. As a kid it made me feel secure knowing that if I ever got tired of life in good ol' Yakima I could just start digging and end up in a new home far far away. Now I know that I would have been fined or imprisoned for even trying.
What a sad world we live in.
