Grumpy Old Men

Tuesday in 'Tales from the Waitress'
Today two of my favorite customers came in to the restaurant today. They are these two elderly gentlemen (probably in their mid seventies to early eighties)who live in an assisted living home. They go for drives every once in a while and then stop in to each drink a Bud and eat french fries or onion rings. Today they both had red Buds; maybe they figure it is healthier. They are fun because they joke around a lot and give me and each other a hard time. They say they come up to get Buds because they won't let them have it in their nursing home. So I said I wouldn't tell on them. I kinda want to be like that when I'm old. Sneak out with my friend and do stuff we really aren't supposed to. But somehow two old ladies going for a drive and drinking Buds just doesn't seem as cute. hmmm.
