blogging
I'm not actually sure that blogging is a word. I guess it is now. In my short time here I've already discovered on of the great joys of posting blogs: having them disappear after you pour your heart and soul into it. Ahh the joys of technology. If anyone has suggestions on how to improve my blog, please feel free to contribute (as long as you include a "how-to" guide :) I haven't spent the time yet figuring anything out, and I can't seem to get spellcheck to work either, so please forgive the many many errors.
And now for "Today in the life of Holly"
Today was definitly the most productive day of my entire spring break. I finalized my resume and dropped it off at 5 Physical Therapy offices. I hope and pray that I get in at one specific clinic. It was a great environment and one of the therapists there goes to church with my high school track coach. Two of the clinics smelled and looked too much like doctor's offices for my taste. I also applied at the nursing home I worked at last summer. If none of the above options workout, I will probably waitress at Trout Lodge again and voluteer with Children's Village doing hippotherapy (PT on horses for disabled kids). Whatever God has in-store for the summer will be great!
After driving all over town I had coffee with a friend and then went to the driving range to hit a bucket of balls with my dad. Now don't get me wrong, I don't like golf. At all. You might even say I hate it, but I won't go that far. However, I decided that by not golfing I was neglecting my gift. I have denied my true calling for too long. hah. We'll see.
Overall a great day.
I'd also like to give mad props to the Huskies Basketball team for their pac-10 championship, #1 seed, and trip to the sweet sixteen. It is too bad they didn't have a better game against Louisville. Tre, Will, Nate, and the rest of the departing Huskies will be missed. It was a great season, and I'm ready to buy my Dawg Pack tickets for next season now.
That's about it. Sorry, no deep thoughts today.

2 Comments:
let's go golfing some time.
Maybe once I can actually hit it in the desired direction :) I'm up for the golfing range though.
